Peter the Great's official residence was located on the site now occupied by the Hermitage Theater. The surviving portion of the palace houses a memorial exhibition dedicated to Peter the Great and his era. Peter the Great's rooms—the Study, Dining Room, and Turnery—have been recreated, including authentic items that belonged to the emperor. The so-called "Wax Figure," a posthumous sculpted portrait of Peter the Great, is on display here. In the latest episode of "Hermitage Online," we'll discuss this unique architectural and memorial monument from the first quarter of the 18th century.
