Its original name was the Circular Mountaineering Trail "Kroz Samoborsko gorje", and in 2003 it was changed to the "Samoborska obilaznica". The purpose of the tour is to introduce hikers to the beauty and less visited parts of the Samobor Highlands. The bypass is designed for all ages. For checkpoints (acronym: CP) Samobor bypasses were selected peaks, caves and a waterfall that uniquely represent the beauty and diversity of the Samobor Highlands and eastern "Žumberak". There are 17 in total, of which the visitor must visit at least 12 in order to receive the memorial badge as a reward for the trip.
