FC Gaia Andebol Masculino

In the third episode of "Norte em Jogo" (North in Play), we visited FC Gaia, one of the historic handball clubs in Portugal, to understand what makes it a benchmark both on and off the field. More than just a senior team, FC Gaia thrives on youth development, its connection to the city, and an identity built over generations. We spoke with Paulo Vilarinho about the club's project and the importance of youth development, and with coach José Martingo, who showed us the daily work of the senior team. We also heard from Vasco Areias, captain and a symbol of the locker room, and Rodrigo Esteves, who had a standout season in the Primeira Liga (First League).
