Onshape introduces a new scan-to-CAD workflow (Constrained surface) in a feature packed new release!
Today (March 13, 2025) we released for thr 4th time in 2025! And it's a big modeling release.... amongst many exciting thing, the new Constrained surface will give you a great new way to fit high quality surfaces to scanned/imported data. I revisit an old favorite of mine (the Violin!) and show off this new tool. Join me behind the scenes for another of my single-take rehearsals for demos that I am prepping for, test-driving new concepts, or generally practicing.
