May Recap

This is a recap for the month of May. I went out camping but the winds were too intense for me to get any kind of video work done. I went out to Death Valley National Pack and had a hell of a time fighting an awning for many hours. The winds were so bad I camped one night, I had to call it. My second trip was out to Lake Mead National Recreation Area, not a far trip but the winds were just as bad. Unfortunately that was how the whole month of May was. Hard to camp and hard to keep tents on the ground. My truck bed air mattress popped too so that made it that much more of a tough night. Maeve and I slept in the cab of the truck in order to get some kind of sleep. I was able to make it to Overland Expo West 2026. What a great time. I went out there to check it out for the first time. I went out there to get B-roll and look at trailer and camper tops for the Gladiator. It was a bit overwhelming and incredible at the same time. I look forward to next year now I know what to expect.
