We taxied to runway 06. Takeoff was swift, we climbed straight out over the Forth. We banked right as we headed towards our cruising altitude, heading south. Our cruising altitude was 29000ft. We headed down the west of England. Heading over Manchester and Manchester Airport. We began our descent over Birmingham as the sun finally set. We briefly joined the Bovingdon stack before banking right over St Albans and began our approach to runway 09L. Landing was quite hard and we quickly vacated the runway. We taxied for 5 minutes to reach our remote stand at T2. The aircraft shut down and we disembarked soon after on buses to T2.
