This lens was released in 1954, referencing the technology of East German CARL ZEISS, which was under Soviet influence. Although it's a lens made in the Eastern Bloc, it was highly regarded in the West as well, as evidenced by the logo on the lens indicating it won the Grand Prix at the 1958 World's Fair in Belgium. This particular lens was manufactured in 1974, has a highly versatile M42 mount, and is a rare find—a wide-angle old lens in excellent condition.
