Trolling For Kokanee Salmon But I Caught a GIANT Lake Trout

I went on a big fishing boat for the first time and we started trolling for HUGE kokanee and also ended up caching rainbow trout. I could have never guessed this day would end with catching a 30lb lake trout! I thought the day was over but after catching so many fish, Matt surprised us and decided to go for a species that was new to me. I didn’t think much of it and thought we most likely wouldn’t be lucky enough to catch anything. Boy was I wrong and after only 20 minutes of jigging, a GIANT decided to bite.
