It is the accumulation of stocks that encourages you to start a second, third, and then a fourth embroidery. And this begins to interest you more and more, and over time it grows into a passion for something new. That is, new threads, fabrics, patterns, canvas counts, textures, decorative elements, sizes and colors fascinate the cerebellum and you want to try everything at once, and you are fascinated by the new process, its preparation and further work on it. By slightly increasing one process, you move on to the next, and so on to the others, while abandoning the previous ones, returning to them in a few months or even years. But there are also such long-term projects that are no longer destined to be completed. It all depends on your mood, experience, changes in preferences regarding plots, producers, family situation, moving and even the weather. And in the aggregate of all this, you forget about the process you have started, which later becomes a long-term project. In fact, it is sad, because when you start your favorite business, you want to finish it and see the finish line of your work. It is like an athlete who trains in order to win in the end and receive a reward for his labors and efforts. The same can be said about our hobby, we simply need it more for peace of mind and morale. A new project that has been started is always intrigue, new impressions and emotions, it is a new experience and a crazy desire to create, but..... that is until a certain point. If you still have a lot of active processes, more than 10 or 20, this is a signal to stop. Sit down and make a plan of action and think about why you bought a set or a diagram of a particular plot, why you liked that particular plot, and why you need to finish it. It is worth just sitting down and thinking about why I started this particular embroidery, why I need it, and whether I want to see the finished result. When the answer comes to the cerebellum, then the long-term construction will begin to be implemented again and the process will sparkle with new colors and receive a long-awaited completion.
