We ventured into San Ángel, Quintana Roo, where we visited a local acquaintance who knows how to hunt a rodent that lives underground, related to the mole and commonly known as the tuza in the Yucatán Peninsula. We set traps and even cooked this little mole to try what is apparently a delicacy for the people of this community, an exotic food for many others.
