Making Your Own Perfume - Why We DON'T Use VODKA or WITCH HAZEL!
🌸 Why You Should NEVER Use Vodka or Witch Hazel as Perfume Carriers! 🌸 Curious about making your own perfume but unsure which carrier to use? In this video, I explain why Vodka or Witch Hazel are NOT ideal for crafting perfumes whether you’re using Essential Oils (EO) or *Fragrance Oils (FO)*. The reason is simple: both Vodka and Witch Hazel contain TOO much water, making the oil unable to dissolve fully leaving you with an undesirable, "salad dressing-like" consistency. For a perfectly blended perfume, it’s essential to use the right carrier. Recommended Carriers for DIY Perfumes: Everclear or Club 190 Alcohol (189 Proof) Perfumer's Alcohol (200 Proof) These options ensure that your oils dissolve completely, giving you a beautifully balanced perfume every time. Avoid using Isopropyl Alcohol—it not only alters your desired scent but also tends to be overly harsh and drying. Enjoyed this video? Give it a thumbs up!
