Tyler Cowen gives his insight into the answer to the question “is growth is a moral imperative?" He explains why, in his perspective, it is in fact a moral imperative. Economist and author Tyler Cowen is a professor at George Mason University and Director of its Mercatus Center. His book The Great Stagnation: How America Ate the Low-Hanging Fruit of Modern History, Got Sick and Will (Eventually) Feel Better was a New York Times bestseller. Host of the podcast Conversations with Tyler, Cowen was recently named in an Economist poll as one of the most influential economists of the last decade. The Arrow Lecture Series in Ethics and Leadership is named in honor of Nobel Laureate Kenneth Arrow, an economics professor emeritus from Stanford.
