In this video, I visit Dennis Schouten at Café Santé in Enschede for a candid interview for Nieuwe Revu. The conversation takes place just a few days before he is attacked and injured with a knife. Coincidentally or not, we do discuss the topics of "threats" and "aggression" in the interview. Our conversation continues with the future of Roddelpraat, his ambitions in television, his feelings for other people, his difficult childhood with a mother who made tough choices for him, his attitude towards romantic relationships, and his conscious decision to remain childless. Dennis is initially skeptical of my interview style and the lighthearted games I use to lighten the mood, but later in the interview, I manage to draw him into a sensitive conversation about intimate topics like his childhood, love, death, and his self-image.
