Art Lessons Can Be Murder | 4 Books Later: Growing Up as an Author | Kevin Bautista-Zeledon 2026

Four years ago, we had the opportunity to sit down with Kevin Bautista-Zeledon when he was just 10 years old, celebrating the release of his very first book. Today, we’re honored to welcome him back to the P.E.G Podcast as a young author who has continued to chase his dream. Now in high school, Kevin has published 4 books in his planned 8-book series, Art Lessons Can Be Murder. Watching his journey from elementary school to middle school and now into high school has been inspiring. Through every chapter of life, Kevin has remained committed to his passion for storytelling. Kevin also lives with autism, and instead of allowing it to define him, he has embraced it as one of his greatest strengths. His creativity, imagination, and determination have become his superpower, inspiring readers of all ages through his writing and artwork. His dream is to build a series that one day stands alongside classics like Goosebumps, and after seeing his dedication over the last four years, we can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next. Join us as we catch up with Kevin, talk about his growth as an author, his creative process, the challenges he’s overcome, and what’s next for his incredible book series. If this conversation inspires you, be sure to Like, Comment, Subscribe, and Share to support young creators and help spread positivity.
