Episode 141 Namaste, I am Pooja and Welcome to a Sweet Potato Egg Frankie | रताळ्याचे गुलाबजाम |रताळी विशेष| Village Cooking | Red Soil Stories Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬ This time, for the first time, I went outside Sindhudurg district for shooting. This time, I travelled to Kolhapur to harvest sweet potatoes. One of my relatives is currently harvesting sweet potatoes on their farm. From their field, I collected plenty of fresh and large sweet potatoes. Along with them, I also brought back the fresh green leaves of the sweet potato plant. From these fresh leaves, I cooked a delicious vegetable dish and enjoyed it with bhakri. The next day, I made two varieties of chips from these fresh sweet potatoes—one sweet and one spicy. Both types of chips turned out wonderfully crispy. The following day, I prepared an egg Frankie using the sweet potatoes. Our guests at home loved it very much. After that, I made soft and delicious gulab jamuns from the sweet potatoes. These soft, syrup-soaked gulab jamuns were especially loved by my mother-in-law.
