"The Regional Police Chief explained yesterday that this is a series of activities that must be carried out by investigators before handing over the second phase to the prosecutor's office," Listyo told the media at the Tomb of President Soekarno (Bung Karno) in Blitar City, Saturday (June 20, 2026). Listyo Sigit stated that this step is a procedure after the case is declared complete or P21. Investigators are therefore required to hand over the suspect and evidence to the prosecutor's office for further legal proceedings. "After being declared P21, investigators must hand over the evidence and suspect to the prosecutor's office," he said. He also stated that investigators are ensuring all administrative requirements and the suspect's condition, including a medical examination. "As explained yesterday, there were medical examinations and administrative examinations to ensure everything is in good condition before being handed over to the prosecutor's office," he said. The National Police Chief emphasized that all processes for the arrest of Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa were part of the legal process that must be followed.
