Rare Mileage Excursion On The Auburn Road!
Filmed 4/19/26 Well, aren’t I glad I was able to head out for this? On this day, the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ hosted the Auburn Road Special, a mileage excursion that ran on the Finger Lakes Railway, which was the New York Central’s former Auburn Road, hence the title. And this is only a little over a month before the 2026 season for the Finger Lakes Rail Experience. I set out to chase the special from Martisco to Cayuga, and was pleased with once again getting some B23-7s in action.
