The Mango Jam by Kai Sallas: A Modern Single Fin Log built in Thunderbolt SILVER
The Mango Jam is a modern take on a traditional single fin log. It has all the elements of a traditional log, but it has modern features that make it much easier to turn than a traditional log. Coming from a high performance background, Kai has always prioritized power surfing and full carves, and when he recently took an interest in more traditional style longboarding, he recognized quickly that he could add a hard edge to the tail and bring the wide point back - two updates that enable tight and flowing radiuses in turns. Kai decided to build the Mango Jam in Thunderbolt SILVER because of its classic hand lamination and added weight; enabling the kind of glide and trim you'd expect from a traditional log.
