Saint Joseph MO | Fire Apparatus New Delivery

The Saint Joseph Fire Department has added a new tool to its fleet with the delivery of this versatile Mini-DRY Rescue unit. Designed to fill a wide range of roles, this truck will quickly become one of the department's busiest apparatus. From supporting multi-unit emergency responses as a utility vehicle to handling the countless "odds and ends" calls that don't necessarily require a full-size fire apparatus, this unit is built to maximize efficiency and keep frontline resources available when they're needed most. Beyond emergency response, the Mini-DRY Rescue will serve as the department's designated "go-for" vehicle, tackling smaller non-emergent tasks, transporting equipment, supporting special operations, and helping crews stay mission-ready throughout the day. In this video, Fire Chief Ivan Klippenstein discusses the department's vision for the new unit, the operational needs it was designed to meet, and how it will enhance service to the residents of Saint Joseph for years to come.
