SURPRISE Bedroom Makeover! Fun Elements, Timeless, Creative Finds, I Underestimated This Project!

ROOM MAKEOVER ✨ Wolfgang’s Big Boy Bedroom Transformation (Pottery Barn Inspired + Thomas the Train) Today’s video is SUCH a special one 🥹 We are finally giving Wolfgang his BIG BOY room makeover!! This project has honestly been MONTHS in the making between planning, shopping, searching for the right furniture pieces, figuring out a theme, finding unique decor, and trying to create a room that feels special while still being timeless enough to grow with him over the years. We ended up leaning into a subtle train / Thomas the Train inspired room and I absolutely LOVE how it all came together 🤍 I always knew I wanted to add a really fun statement piece into the room… and let me just tell you 😅 what was supposed to take “2.5 hours to assemble” turned into an ENTIRE DAY project lol. This room makeover truly became a 3-day process from start to finish but seeing Wolfgang’s reaction made every second worth it. I also found some really beautiful antique/vintage pieces to help finish off the room and add a little warmth and character which made the space feel even more special and unique. And honestly… this makeover was emotional for me too. Watching your babies grow up is such a strange mix of joy, pride, gratitude, nostalgia, and heartbreak all wrapped into one. Saying goodbye to the rocking chair, the baby stage, and the little room seasons of life hit me harder than I expected 🥹 But I really wanted to create a room that could grow WITH him. A cozy, classic, playful space that feels like childhood while still having timeless pieces that hopefully last for years and years. The Pottery Barn furniture was definitely an investment, but I truly love the quality and hope these pieces stay with him through so many different stages of growing up. I’m definitely not an interior designer 😂 but honestly… I’m really proud of how this room came together and even more importantly — Wolfgang LOVES it.
