I Turned a $40 IKEA Piece Into Something Unrecognizable

I turned a $40 IKEA Moppe drawer unit into a bold explosion of color… and also a moody, apothecary-style reversible piece?! 😳✨ In this DIY transformation, I stain, prime, paint, wallpaper, and completely redesign every drawer to create something that’s both functional and full of personality. From sparkly pink designs and floral details to zig zags, stars, and hearts—each drawer has its own story. The best part? One side is a chaotic burst of color, and the other is a darker, vintage-inspired look. You can literally flip your vibe depending on your mood. This project took a LOT of steps (and patience), but I’m obsessed with how it turned out.
