This year’s Easter break was to the beautiful Italian city of Verona and Lake Garda, and easyJet would take me there on their A319. Punctual, good legroom and a clean aircraft, added to the pleasant experience at Gatwick airport, then followed by the quick arrival at Verona - we were out the terminal less than 30 mins after we got off the plane! Made for a great flight experience. A long taxi to 08R, takeoff was out to the East, we climbed and then held at about 5,500 feet, you can hear the crew announcement at that point, then through the clouds after the exciting departure to cruise at 33,000ft. Flight was smooth, then some great views of the alps before descending into hazy Northern Italy and making an excellent landing on Villafranca’s runway 04. Smooth and a perfect sink rate achieved by captain Gordon. All in all, a great and very much enjoyable flight.
