CN-235 y C-295: los transportes españoles
Learn about Spain's most successful aircraft, the CN-235 and C-295 light transport aircraft. The first of these was created in the early 1980s by the Spanish company CASA in cooperation with the Indonesian company IPTN as part of the joint venture Airtech International. This aircraft is capable of carrying up to 6 tons of cargo or 51 troops. For its time, it was quite inexpensive and well-equipped to perform a wide variety of missions. It gained great popularity, and more than 350 units were delivered to military and civilian operators worldwide. The C-295, on the other hand, is a new generation developed based on the CN-295 by EADS CASA. The aircraft became larger, heavier, and more advanced, and although it remains in the light transport aircraft class, its performance has improved significantly. Production began in 1997, and more than 200 units have been delivered since then. This video was translated by Cat Translate.
