(Des Moines) DART Line 12 Downtown-Altoona FULL ROUTE

Part of a series of riding the redesigned Des Moines bus routes and filming them for the YouTube public to enjoy. This was the first ever Downtown-Altoona line 12 run the day the network redesign began, 7:30am on June 14. Before this, buses used to run through the Fairgrounds neighborhood to get to the northeastern corner of the city; now buses utilize University Avenue which avoids potential railroad conflicts, plus extends to Altoona to provide more frequent access to jobs. Due to advertising "dots" on this bus, I had to film at a side-angle so the camera would properly film. I planned to record this as a round-trip, but the return trip a) I accidentally didn't click record for a lot of the beginning, and a bus malfunction resulted in a long delay which made the bus super late. I plan to release most of these as round-trips.
