The hike starts through a small piece of forest above the beach bath. The path is initially quite easy and wide but then gradually becomes partly steep and rooted. Surefootedness and a head for heights is, in my opinion, absolutely necessary. This dreamlike hike along the Achensee to the Gaisalm (refreshments possible in summer) impresses with its rustic paths that are partly carved into the rock. The view over the lake is simply unique and, in a way, a must for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
