Tarp shelters in storm conditions
I saw on the news, a bad storm was seen heading to the San Gorgonio mountain range, so I took the opportunity to show how a simple tarp can be used effectively to shelter in a storm. I took NO jacket, NO rain gear and no bathtub floor ground sheet. I chose a place I had never entered into and walked till the rain was pouring down, then sought out a place to hunker down for the night. It was very successful night, thou, one hour after I got back to my car, the mountain gave way and sent a flash flood of mud, burying all cars in the trail head parking lots. its an 8 x 10 integral design siltarp
