LUNA Moth at the LIGHT TRAP

The illustrious luna moth is among one of our most common and beautiful silk moths here in the United States. These beautiful moths, like the vast majority of the silk moths, lead fleeting adult lives as they lack the means to procure food and nourish themselves as moths. Their one and only job as adults is to mate and ensure that they do their part to continue through their offspring!
