THE QUITTERS 'Garage-Pop 13' Bug Jar April 21, 2001
By this time we were only 4 years into the 'Garage-Pop' show series, but we'd done a dozen shows and things were winding down. This was the 13th installment and featured THE PURRS, THE PRIESTS, THE THUNDER GODS, JEN SANTORO, THE VEINS, THE GRINDERS and of course, THE QUITTERS. Also i believe most bands did one Ramones song as Joey Ramone had just passed The Quitters always played our newest songs live. For the most part we never did a 'greatest hits' show. Maybe when we do a reunion show we will do that. This show featured almost all of the songs from our 3rd album, '1982' which wouldn't be released for another 5 years! We went through some changes in the band during those years but we still managed to finish the project. I hate leaving things unfinished. So here you get to see us perform such rarities as 'Because Of You', 'Bed Of Memories' as well as the Ramones classics 'Commando' and 'I Can't Give You Anything'.
