Tool Test: 135 Split Point VS 118 Standard Point Drills | WW253

Do 135 degree split point drills require spot before drilling to prevent walking? Word on the street is that they don't! Let's put that theory to the test by pitting 135 degree split point drills against 118 degree standard point drills! We'll test two different sizes [3/16" (4.76 mm) & 3/32" (2.38 mm)] of each drill in both 6061 aluminum and 1018 mild steel. Then, we'll bust out the metrology tools and measure for size and positional accuracy.
