Additional compensation in the event of a company liquidation is paid to employees who were dismissed (with their consent) less than two months after the notice of the company's liquidation (or staff reduction). Important! An employee's employment contract may be terminated before the expiration of the period specified in the notice of impending dismissal due to company liquidation. In this case, the employer must obtain the employee's written consent to such dismissal. An employee dismissed before the established period is paid additional compensation in addition to severance pay and average earnings during the period of employment.
