Unboxing Maximatic Plus One Piece - Monkey D. Luffy II - Ive been looking forward to this figure ever since it got announced, especially with how well and good the first one is, is the figure good? Lets talk about it! First, likeness, i think it looks good, id say its 100 for me, facial expression, sculpt and details also looks good, though i wish they added a darker outline in his teeth and when it comes to the flame effect, im not a fan of it, it kinda look messy, paint looks as usual, nothing extraordinary, its a simple and clean paint, i like what they did with the foot support as well, its much more stable than the 1st one. I like the presence that the figures gives or the vibe that it gives, now to the question, does this look better than the first one? Maybe, but to me it isnt, i still like the first one more, it just have more impact to me, iconic pose and the nostalgia that it gave, plus the pink shadings, it just look better compared to this one, this looks too plain, though that doesnt mean this figure looks bad, it still looks good in my opinion. Maybe i was just hoping that this figure would atleast have some shadings, but like i said it still looks good. Anyway what do you guys think?
