How to Tie a Double Fisherman's Knot
Don't forget to give me a thumbs up and if you'd like to see more knot tying tutorials, subscribe to my channel. Welcome to my channel How to Knot and in this video, I will be showing you how to tie a double fisherman’s knot. This is a great knot for uses in climbing, camping, and fishing. When used in a climbing scenario, the loose ends can be bound with tape so they don’t catch up on anything. This is considering one of the strongest knots for connecting two pieces of rope and is very reliable. It can however jam extremely tight where it makes it near impossible to untie, therefore requiring the rope to be cut. Start by wrapping the one working twice around the opposite rope. Feed the working end through the loop and stung up the knot. Now do the same of the other working end. Wrap it around twice. Feed the working end through the loops and tighten. Tighten the other knot and dress accordingly. © How to Knot 2018 All Rights Reserved No part of this video or any of its contents may be reproduced, copied, modified or adapted, without the prior written consent of the author.
