Only the voice counts: During their Blind Auditions, the coaches' chairs face the audience, so they can't see who's on stage. If a coach wants to add a talent to their team, they press their buzzer, and the singer advances to the next round. If multiple coaches buzz, the talent has the choice. After the Blind Auditions come the Knockouts. Here, 12 talents are divided into three groups, where they must impress their coaches in direct competition.
