Alberto Cardemil is the guest on the latest edition of the program Historia de Chile, 30 años, 1989-2019, hosted by historian and academic Alejandro San Francisco. Cardemil studied law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile but has primarily focused on politics. He served as Undersecretary of the Interior during General Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship and, after the return to democracy, served as a member of Congress from 1994 to 2014 representing his party, Renovación Nacional. He also wrote the book "El camino de la utopia, Alessandri, Frei y Allende, pensamiento y obra" (The Path of Utopia: Alessandri, Frei and Allende, Thought and Work). Watch the full video.
