1987 4Runner 22RE Timing Chain Replacement Part 1 of 6
In this short series I start working on replacing the timing chain in my 1987 Toyota 4Runner with the 22RE engine. Toyota used this engine in Toyota Pickups and 4Runners up to 1995. There are shortcuts which attempt to remove the timing cover without removing the head. Some have reported good results with this method but that's not what I show in this video.
