The Czech folk song "Ach, neni tu, neni (Ah, not here, not)" performed by Victor Nikitin (tenor) and the Alexandrov Red Army Choir. Conductor is Konstantin Vinogradov. This video recording was made in Prague during the tour of the Ensemble to Czechoslovakia in June-July 1948. In the full text of the lyrics of this song, a young girl tells how sad and unhappy she is. The reason is that she lost her beloved one, whom she was in love with and with whom she was very happy. It is all the worse that now her parents are forcing her to marry a widowed man and she is not interested in him. Moreover, this widower is severely devastated by the loss of his wife, and the girl is afraid that even if she marry him, he would not be able to love her properly because he had already given much of his love to his first wife.
