We arrive in Norway in winter – and quickly realize that Atlas needs an upgrade. So we fit spikes, swap our gas bottles for propane, and make our Toyota LandCruiser HZJ79 winter-ready. There we reach the southernmost point of Norway, drive through wintery forest trails and hike to the frozen Manafossen waterfall. However, the highlight of this stage is our winter hike to Preikestolen. With a guide and spikes on our shoes, we climb icy paths up to the famous rock plateau above the Lysefjord.
