Data Integration Platform - Implementation and Validation Challenges

In this session, Grzegorz Janczewski will present the journey of designing, implementing, and validating a Data Integration Platform, a foundation for building a customer data hub that that will enable real‑time data visibility for CDMO customers. The talk will highlight the strategic importance of modern data management, along with key technical and compliance challenges encountered along the way. Topics will include data integrity and security considerations, lessons learned from in‑house software development, the transition from traditional V‑model methodologies to an agile approach, and the application of risk‑based validation and critical thinking. The presentation will also cover practical experience with validating both custom and open‑source components used in the system. There will be some insights from work with Kneat Gx.
