EP-1034 | बलद कलां, संगरूर, पंजाब | Annapurna Muhim: अब बच्चे अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी कर देंगे | This short feature documents the heartbreaking condition of a destitute family in Bald Kalan, Sangrur, Punjab — a widowed mother, an elderly father and three young daughters struggling after the sudden death of the sole breadwinner. Their house has cracked walls, leaking roof, no proper kitchen or bathroom door, and frequent shortages of food and basic supplies. Two daughters go to school but lacked uniforms and shoes; the mother is medically unfit after multiple operations; the elderly father cannot work. The team visited the home and recorded the living conditions, interviews with neighbours, and the relief brought by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Annapurna campaign. The volunteers provided a 23-item ration kit (flour, rice, dals, sugar, oil, milk powder, spices and more), school uniforms, shoes, notebooks and basic hygiene items. The campaign promises continued support until the family becomes self-reliant, with a direct helpline card for future needs. This video aims to raise awareness about everyday poverty and to show how organized, compassionate action can restore dignity.
