📌The Republic gave women a space for freedom, but only to those loyal to it. 📌Although the Republic theoretically promised secular and equal citizenship, in practice the nation-state reflex was built upon the Turkish and Muslim backbone. 📌Non-Muslim religious women experienced discrimination due to the minority psychology inherent in being non-Muslim. 📌Again, women were harmed by both religion and the Republic. 📌We need to understand this Republic well, otherwise women will never achieve their rights. 📌A democratic Republic does not advocate for a single type of person. 📌If we don't fight for this, it won't happen. 📌If the role and mission of women is the transformation of society, then let's change it.
