Here is look into what a half day of clinic looks like during my third year of hematology and oncology fellowship! Many academic hem/onc fellowships dedicate multiple months to research, as the field is heavily involved in clinical trials, drug development, and advancing cancer care. During our final year of fellowship, our schedule is primarily research-focused, with only 1.5 clinic days each week and the rest of our time protected for research.
