The Parking lot is now opened after a four year closure for restoration from the Bobcat Fire .This destination is one of the most popular scenic hiking areas near Los Angeles, California in the Sierra Madre The re- Opening was October 2, 2024. We showcase the whole trail, both above the Falls, that feature rock pools of emerald green water, as well as the main hiking trail to Sturtevant falls, a 60+ foot waterfall. Our trek begins at Adam's Pack House near the Chantry Flats trailhead parking lot, where Maggie (co-owner) revealed to us an epic upper falls trail. Maggie informed us that we could find excellent clear rock pools and fun swim holes. This hiking adventure vlog covers detailed directions and trail tips to discover these rock pools, and another large waterfall pouring into a waterhole to swim in.
