Mozart wrote his opera "Mitridate, Re di Ponto" while touring Italy at the age of 14. Act 1, Scene 2 - Rec. & Aria No. 1 - Aspasia asks Sifare (who loves her) to protect her from the unwanted advances of his brother Farnace.
