As Fiji waits for the 2026-2027 budget, Fiji Council of Social Services Director Vani Catanasiga says the budget must prioritise the needs of ordinary people over politics. In this episode of the Lens@177, she urged Government to invest in essential services, warning that political interests should never influence public spending while communities continue to face challenges in health, water, sanitation and hygiene.
