Thank you for your understanding and patience. ————————— 📍Yamdrok Lake ཡར་འབྲོག་གཡུ་མཚོ། Also known as Yamdrok Yumtso, this lake lies south of Lhasa at an altitude of around 4,441 meters. It is the largest inland lake on the northern slope of the Himalayas. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and rolling hills, its turquoise waters have earned it the title of "the most beautiful water in the world." 📍Karola Glacier One of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet, Karola is also the most accessible. It lies just over 300 meters from the roadside, making it easy to witness the grand scale and intricate details of its ice tongue up close. 📍Mapam Yumco མ་ཕམ་གཡུ་མཚོ་ Located in the Ngari region at an altitude of 4,560 meters, it is the world’s highest freshwater lake. Considered sacred in Tibetan Buddhism, the lake is famed for its clear blue waters and mountain backdrop, making it a revered destination for pilgrims and travelers alike. 📍Namtso གནམ་མཚོ་ At 4,718 meters above sea level, Namtso is the third-largest saltwater lake in China.
