GOODBYE SCOUT π YOU WILL 'NEVER' BE FORGOTTENπ Fly Free Little Warrior | March 30th β June 1st, 2026
π A LOVING TRIBUTE TO FALCONSHIRE RAPTOR EAGLET, SCOUT π March 30th, 2026 β June 1st, 2026 Gone Too Soon. Never Forgotten. This memorial video is dedicated to Scout, the youngest eaglet at the Falconshire Raptors nest in Michigan. Scout hatched on March 30th, 2026, and quickly captured the hearts of eagle watchers around the world. Determined, and endlessly endearing, Scout became an eaglet that soon captured the hearts of thousands, who followed and rooted for the eaglet each day. As the season progressed, concerns grew as Scout remained significantly smaller than sibling Sunday and struggled to obtain enough food. Despite these challenges, viewers celebrated every small victory, every meal, and every sign of progress, always hoping Scout would beat the odds. On May 10th, 2026, Scout was removed from the nest for a routine health assessment and banding. The footage from that day showed an alert, curious, and adorable eaglet that left a lasting impression on everyone who watched. Following examination and banding, Scout was returned to the nest. And the eaglets fate was sealed. Over the following weeks, watchers continued to hope for a positive outcome. There were joyful moments, reasons for optimism, and signs that Scout was still fighting. Yet concerns about growth, nutrition, injury and overall condition remained. The live cams went dark, and we all hoped for good news. But that news never came. On June 1st, 2026, Falconshire Raptors released the official statement that so many had feared. Scout had passed away at 63 days old. And many were left with the same question... "What if?" Will Scout's story bring about change in how intervention decisions are viewed on live-cam nests? Only time will tell. But Scout's life ensured that the conversation will not be forgotten. While Scout's life was brief, the impact of this little eaglet was immense. Thousands of people celebrated the highs, worried through the lows, and never stopped hoping for a different ending. Fly Free, Scout. π Soar high π¦ March 30th, 2026 β June 1st, 2026 Gone Too Soon. Never Forgotten. Thank you to Falconshire Raptors for providing the live camera coverage that allowed viewers to follow Scout's journey. This video is shared as a tribute to Scout's life and memory.
