#p40 #a2asimulations #tutorial Welcome to Part Three of a tutorial series focusing on the wonderful Accu-sim P-40 from A2A Simulations. A different approach in this episode. Out of all the A2A warbirds I find the P-40 the most difficult to land well. That may be down to my over familiarity with the glide approach of the Spitfire but nonetheless it is an interesting challenge. So what better way to demonstrate this than a very honest session of circuits and bumps at our training base at RAF Lossiemouth. Just an interesting note, I could have made my life a lot easier had I trimmed more often during the different phases! Another useful point to remember that has been made since this video was released that although it is in the A2A manual, in practise it is not necessary to keep putting carb heat on for approach if conditions do not warrant it.
