A new bike and riding gear — everything had to be tested on a long journey. Loen is beautiful year-round, but we were especially lucky in May 2024. We caught some sunny days with snow still on the mountain peaks, a rare combo to experience on a bike! It felt like Nature itself was welcoming Erik back. We rode from our hometown Bergen and stayed at the legendary Alexandra Hotel. We were supposed to head home, but suddenly ended up in Måløy, spending the night in Florø and riding across Gaularfjellet on the way back. It was just so magically beautiful the entire way, and we were SO happy to be back on two wheels. Our new BMW K1600GTL exceeded all expectations for both rider and passenger. Best MC ever!
