🏔️ After travelling through the legendary Hindustan–Tibet Highway, I finally arrive at Kalpa, a peaceful Himalayan village nestled in the heart of Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, where the majestic Kinner Kailash Range welcomes me with breathtaking views. ❤️ I begin my journey by meeting the warm and welcoming people of Kalpa, experiencing their simple way of life, and tasting traditional Kinnauri delicacies like Siddu and the famous Kinnauri Rajma. I also get a glimpse into the rich culture and traditions that have been preserved here for generations. ⛩️ From there, I visit the peaceful Kalpa Monastery, explore the historic Narayan-Nagini Temple, and hike to the beautiful Chakka Meadows, surrounded by some of the most spectacular Himalayan landscapes. 🛣️ My journey then continues to the breathtaking Khab Sangam, where the turquoise Spiti River meets the mighty Sutlej River, before heading towards Nako, the highest village in Kinnaur district. 🏡 In Nako, I explore the centuries-old Druk Choiling Monastery, have a heartwarming conversation with a Buddhist monk, walk through the village's traditional mud houses, and finally end my journey at the peaceful Nako Lake. 🎥 This film is not just about the mountains—it's about the people, culture, traditions, and stories that make these remote Himalayan villages truly unforgettable.
