WHAT WISDOM IS THIS? | Part 2 | Pastor Ayo Ajani

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Love. No human person can function in the unconditional agape love of God unless the Spirit of God dwells in him. This is the same way it’s impossible to have a sound mind without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 1:6-7). To define a sound mind literally, it means “discipline of the mind” — a mind that has been saved and equipped. When you say an equipped mind, otherwise called a complete mind, it must mean that there are certain things that are expected to be found in it. Mark 5:15 spoke about the madman of Gadara, and when Jesus healed him, it was said that he was now in his right mind. Did it mean he didn’t have a mind before then? No. He had a mind, but he’d lost major components and the ability to control his mind. What, then, is a sound, equipped, or complete mind? A sound mind refers to a mind that has captured the three faces or expressions of the wisdom of God. The Three Faces of the Wisdom of God: 📍 SOPHIA Sophia refers to theoretical wisdom. It’s an insight into divine mysteries, plans, and purposes. Sophia is the wisdom of the Spirit. It is when God sheds light on His mysteries, whether generic or personal to your life. Sophia is important because it regulates our lives according to the will of God. Sophia is a product of speaking in tongues and much prayer. 📍SUNESIS Sunesis is simply coming to an understanding. It means you’ve come to know how everything works. The ability to see through a thing and know exactly how that thing works and the relationship with every other thing in your life. Sunesis will always follow Sophia. It’s the know-how; the intricate workings of a thing. Sunesis deals with ideas, comprehension, and understanding. 📍PHRONESIS Phronesis is practical wisdom. It’s knowing what to do at different places and stages of life. If you will make major tremendous progress on the face of the earth, you need all three expressions of wisdom.
